Divine Personal Constitution and Mission Statement
Develop your very own divine personal constitution and mission statement. What this does for you is gives you a sense of direction and mission to lead and guide your life in the direction that you want it to go.
Just think of the Constitution Of The United States. That was a work done to provide direction and governing principles to society. Now, whether it is followed or not, the principle is that the document provides a vision to lead from.
The same holds true for you. Develop your own constitution for yourself that you can use to govern yourself and to make sure that you are headed in a direction that you want to go.
It does not have to be anything sophisticated or difficult, just list some or your greatest values, goals, principles that are inside of you and live it. Write it down, post it on your wall, mirror, etc. to where you see and read it everyday, and then just go out and live it.
Here are some examples of statements that you can put into your divine constitution:
- I live each day with truth as my guiding principles.
- I will love my family unconditionally.
- I will love myself and others unconditionally.
- I choose to be happy and healthy each day in every way.
- I travel each day with the mindset of integrity.
- Constant and never ending improvement is the order of the day.
- I will bring all my dreams into fruition using proper principles of right action.
- I choose to be positive.
- I will work on myself to be the best person that I can be.
So, it is not rocket science to develop your very own personal personal constitution. What is it that you value within yourself and your expectations of your actions? Is it truth, integrity, honesty, assertiveness, growth, development, service, compassion, positive attitude? Determine for yourself what it is that you value and then write some simple statements to help define your very own "Divine Personal Constitution."
Then, once you develop it, read it to yourself before going to bed and upon rising to help get you in the right frame of mind. Hang it up on your wall, your bathroom mirror, your office wall. Keep it visible so that it will not be out of sight, out of mind.
I thank you for sharing time with me today and I wish you well on your journey of success and excellence.
